"The Riesling Trocken 2024 – LS –, with los-nr. 2430, comes from fruit picked on at least 30-year-old vines from various sectors in Pünderich and was bottled unfiltered and with only minimal added SO2. This white-yellow-colored wine offers a superb nose of white flowers, pear, cardamom, citrus, smoke, and a dash of whipped cream. It is beautifully playful on the palate and yet superbly delineated and leaves a gorgeous feel of fruits, fine, and subtly aniseed spicy elements in the finish. The aftertaste is beautifully playful and refined. This is a stunning expression of focused and elegant dry Riesling with only the slightest of “natural funk” fleeting around. What a success!
