"The regular botting of Fleurie from the Lafarge family is excellent in 2023. The wine is very red fruity and precise aromatic constellation offers up scents of cherries, sweet cranberries,gamebird, a touch of nutskin, dark soil tones, fresh thyme, woodsmoke and a topnote of coffee bean. On the palate the wine is full-bodied, complex, poised and soil-driven in personality, with alovely core of fruit, bouncy acids, buried tannins and fine focus and grip on the long, vibrant andimpeccably balanced finish. This has a touch of tannin that will want to be softened up prior topulling corks in earnest, so give this wine a couple of years in the cellar to properly blossom. 2027-2050. 93." John Gilman
